Shared Room

Please note: Since we need all available space and beds, participants are generally accommodated in shared rooms. Most of the shared rooms have a sanitary block (toilet, shower) in the room. Some have shower and toilets on the landing.

In cooperation with your Union Youth Department we will try to find the best possible accommodation for you. However, this means that you will have to share the room with people you may know or you may get to know!

The picture here gives you an example of the nice rooms available. This is a double bedroom that can be expanded into a room with four beds (two additional bunk beds in the niche on the left). Most of the rooms are like this one. But there are also bedrooms with 3 or 6 beds. To accommodate everyone we will have to use more or less all the rooms in the ‘expanded’ version.

At the moment of registration you will be able to choose your preferred room accommodation. However, please note the rooms will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. This means we may not be able to assign you the room of your choice. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

 

 

Additional Accommodation

If the number of participants exceeds the number of beds available at the Congress Center Schönblick we have additional accommodation options in some nearby hotels at a special rate. This rate applies only to bookings made by the Convention Administration and only if all space available at Schönblick is covered.

Please note: If you want to book a hotel room in a nearby hotel yourself, you have to do this at your own expense and you also need to organize your transportation to the Convention Center yourself.

Self-organized accommodation does not reduce the Congress Fee! The Standard Congress Fee is already a reduced price. It is also in our interest – if possible – that all participants are right at the venue and share their time with others.
